Exclaimer pricing and Exclaimer cost for every plan at 25 to 500 users
Exclaimer publishes its prices, which already puts it ahead of half the category. The headline $0.90 is not what most companies end up paying, though. Here is what each plan costs per month and per year at the sizes people actually buy at, which feature pushes you up a tier, and where the cheaper tools sit.
| Group | Mailboxes | Status |

The short answer
Exclaimer costs $0.90 per user a month on Starter, $1.45 on Standard and $1.75 on Pro, billed annually, with a 10 user minimum and Enterprise priced by quote. Starter holds a single signature template, so most companies with more than one team buy Standard. At 100 users that is $145 a month or $1,740 a year; at 500 users on Pro it is $875 a month or $10,500 a year. There is a 14 day free trial and no free plan.
How much does Exclaimer cost per user
These are the plans on Exclaimer's own pricing page, read in US dollars in September 2026. Every published plan is per user per month on annual billing.
| Plan | Per user, per month, billed yearly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0.90 | One signature template, central management, legal disclaimers, directory sync, signatures on all devices |
| Standard | $1.45 | Unlimited templates, 3 brand kits, targeting and exclusion rules, multiple rotating banners, campaign scheduling, QR codes and vCards |
| Pro | $1.75 | Unlimited brand kits, advanced scheduling, analytics dashboard, HubSpot and Salesforce, HRIS directory sync, social feeds, meeting branding |
| Enterprise | Quoted | Dedicated customer success manager, tailored onboarding, guided implementation |

Exclaimer also sells monthly billing. The rates above are the annual ones, so expect to pay more per user if you want to be able to cancel in any month. Every plan includes the security paperwork larger buyers ask for; Exclaimer lists SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA and GDPR on the pricing page, and that is one of the real reasons companies pay its prices over cheaper tools.
What Exclaimer costs per month at six company sizes
Per user rates are easy to quote and hard to budget. This is the same price list turned into the monthly figure finance will see, next to our flat plans so the comparison sits on one line.
| Users | Starter | Standard | Pro | AutoSignature, yearly billing | AutoSignature, monthly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | $22.50 | $36.25 | $43.75 | $79 | $99 |
| 50 | $45.00 | $72.50 | $87.50 | $239 | $299 |
| 100 | $90.00 | $145.00 | $175.00 | $239 | $299 |
| 150 | $135.00 | $217.50 | $262.50 | $239 | $299 |
| 300 | $270.00 | $435.00 | $525.00 | $639 | $799 |
| 500 | $450.00 | $725.00 | $875.00 | $639 | $799 |
Read it plainly. Up to about 135 users, every Exclaimer plan is cheaper than our Business band. Between 137 and 150 users, Pro costs more than our $239. Above about 365 users Pro passes our $639 Scale band, and above about 440 Standard does too. At 500 users the yearly bill is $8,700 on Standard and $10,500 on Pro, against $7,668 for our Scale plan. Below those points the price argument is Exclaimer's, and the full per plan math against its closest rival is in Exclaimer vs CodeTwo pricing.
Three things that decide which Exclaimer plan you really pay for
A second template
Starter holds one template. Sales with a meeting link, support without one and a separate block for the front desk mailbox is three templates already. The day you need two, the rate goes from $0.90 to $1.45, which is 61 percent more on every seat.
For a 100 person company that step is $55 a month, or $660 a year, for the right to have a second design.
Banners for one department
Campaign scheduling starts on Standard, and so do targeting rules. If marketing wants a webinar banner on the sales team only, that is Standard. If they want to see clicks per campaign in a dashboard or pull HubSpot or Salesforce data into the signature, that is Pro at $1.75.
Clicks only pay off if the page the banner opens converts, so it is worth running that page through a conversion rate audit before paying for the analytics tier.
Mailboxes you forgot
Exclaimer licenses by active mailbox, according to its billing FAQ. Shared inboxes like info@, billing@ and support@ that send mail with a signature are part of the count, and so is every new hire the day they get a mailbox.
Pull the list from the Microsoft 365 admin center or Google Admin before you request a quote, and decide which shared mailboxes actually need a signature.
Exclaimer cost next to four other signature tools at 100 users
One company size, list prices from each vendor's own page, annual billing. It is the fastest way to see whether Exclaimer's price is the problem or not.
| Tool | Per month at 100 users | Per year | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|
| BulkSignature Standard | $88 | $1,056 | Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple Mail, Front |
| Exclaimer Starter | $90 | $1,080 | Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, one template |
| CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 | $111 | $1,332 | Microsoft 365 only |
| Exclaimer Standard | $145 | $1,740 | Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace |
| Exclaimer Pro | $175 | $2,100 | Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace |
| Letsignit | $200 | $2,400 | Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace |
| AutoSignature Business | $239 | $2,868 | Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace |
At 100 users we are the most expensive line on the table, and we would rather you see that here than on an invoice. If cost per seat is the deciding line, the cheaper options are BulkSignature, which we compare on the BulkSignature alternative page, and CodeTwo if you are Microsoft 365 only. Letsignit's numbers are in Letsignit pricing.
When the Exclaimer price is worth it, and when it is not
Pay it if
Marketing runs signature campaigns as a real channel and wants the Pro analytics and CRM connections, your procurement needs a large vendor with SOC 2, ISO and HIPAA paperwork on file, or you are under about 135 users and Starter or Standard covers what you need. Exclaimer is a mature product at a fair published price.
Look elsewhere if
You are growing past a few hundred users on Standard or Pro and want the bill to stop following headcount, you would rather the signature lived on the mailbox with no mail routed through a vendor's cloud, or you want one step rollback when a rollout goes wrong. That is how AutoSignature works, at a flat $99, $299 or $799 a month. The side by side is on the Exclaimer alternative page, and plans are on pricing.
Exclaimer pricing questions
How much does Exclaimer cost?
Exclaimer lists three published plans on annual billing: Starter at $0.90 per user per month, Standard at $1.45 and Pro at $1.75, with Enterprise quoted. The minimum is 10 users. For a 100 person company that is $90, $145 or $175 a month, or $1,080, $1,740 or $2,100 a year.
Is Exclaimer free?
No. Exclaimer has no free plan. It offers a 14 day free trial with no credit card required, after which the cheapest plan, Starter, costs $0.90 per user a month on annual billing for at least 10 users, so the smallest possible order is about $108 a year.
What is the minimum number of users for Exclaimer?
Exclaimer's pricing page sets a minimum of 10 users on Starter, Standard and Pro. A company with six mailboxes still pays for ten, which at the Standard rate of $1.45 is $14.50 a month on annual billing.
What is the difference between Exclaimer Starter and Standard?
Starter allows one signature template. Standard allows unlimited templates, three brand kits, targeting and exclusion rules, multiple rotating banners, and QR codes and vCards. Any company that needs a different signature for two teams, or a banner for one department only, needs Standard at $1.45 rather than Starter at $0.90.
Does Exclaimer charge per mailbox?
Yes. Exclaimer licenses by the number of active mailboxes in your organization, according to its billing FAQ, and prices each one per month. The bill therefore grows with every hire and every mailbox that sends mail carrying a signature, which is worth counting before you size the order.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Exclaimer?
Yes. BulkSignature lists $0.88 per user a month with unlimited templates, and CodeTwo is $1.22 falling to $0.76 with volume but covers Microsoft 365 only. Against Exclaimer Standard and Pro, a flat band price such as AutoSignature's $639 a month for up to 600 mailboxes becomes cheaper above about 440 users on Standard and 365 on Pro. The CodeTwo figures are in CodeTwo pricing.
A signature bill that stops following headcount
Team is $99 a month for up to 25 mailboxes, Business is $299 for up to 150 and Scale is $799 for up to 600, with about 20 percent off on yearly billing. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 on every plan, signatures written to the mailbox, no mail relay.
