Exclaimer, for almost every company under 300 people. A 100 person company pays $145 a month on Exclaimer Standard and $500 a month on Opensense, an effective $5 a user against $1.45. The gap does not close until headcount nearly triples. If you are weighing the two, the minimum is the single number to carry into the meeting.
The Opensense platform license is a second line item. Its pricing page says plans include "a $500/month minimum and a platform license" but publishes no amount for the license, so ask for it in writing before you compare quotes. Exclaimer lists no equivalent platform fee on its published plans, though Enterprise is quoted.
Commitment matters too. Exclaimer's published rates are for annual billing with a 10 user minimum and a 14 day free trial. Opensense sells through a booked demo, with several billing frequencies and purchase orders for enterprise buyers. Plan for a sales cycle of weeks, not an afternoon.
Whichever you choose, a $6,000 or $20,000 yearly contract needs a renewal date somebody owns. A SaaS management platform that tracks renewals and seat counts keeps a quiet auto renewal from turning into a surprise invoice.
