Why US companies compare BulkSignature competitors
Price is rarely the reason anyone leaves BulkSignature, because it is already near the bottom of the market. The reasons we hear are about how signatures get onto mail and what happens when something goes wrong.
"IT does not want another Outlook add-in"
On Microsoft 365 BulkSignature runs through an Outlook add-in that supports Outlook 2013 and later on Windows, 2016 and later on Mac, the web and the phone apps. Add-ins are deployed centrally and work well. Some IT teams still prefer that the signature sits on the mailbox itself, so a new laptop or a client with add-ins switched off changes nothing.
"Compliance wants a different footer for one team"
A California office, a HIPAA covered clinic, an advisor under FINRA review or a brokerage with per state license rules each need their own legal line. In its self assessment for Microsoft's app certification program, BulkSignature says it stores user contact details in a US hosted AWS database and keeps data for more than 90 days after an account ends. That is normal for SaaS, and still a question security reviews now ask every vendor.

When staying on BulkSignature is the right call
The budget line decides
A 100 person company pays about $1,056 a year for BulkSignature and $2,868 for our Business plan on yearly billing. If nothing in the table above is a real problem for you, keep the money.
Procurement asks for SOC 2
Some security reviews will not pass a vendor without a current SOC 2 Type II report. BulkSignature says it has one. We do not, and a questionnaire is not the same thing.
You send from Apple Mail or Front
BulkSignature lists both. We cover mailboxes in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. A support team working in Front is better served by a tool that supports it directly.

What is the best BulkSignature alternative?
It depends on why you are leaving. For the lowest per user price on Microsoft 365 only, CodeTwo. For deep campaign analytics and a large vendor, Exclaimer Pro. For signatures written straight to every Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace mailbox with no Outlook add-in, rollout history and one flat monthly bill, AutoSignature. How much does BulkSignature cost?
BulkSignature's pricing page lists one Standard plan at $0.88 per user per month on annual billing or $1.10 per user per month on monthly billing, with a 10 seat minimum. Enterprise, for 500 seats and up with SSO, SCIM and an uptime SLA, is quoted. At 100 users Standard comes to about $88 a month, or $1,056 a year.
Does BulkSignature work with Outlook?
Yes. BulkSignature publishes an Outlook add-in, listed by Apps Record LLC in Microsoft's app certification program, that supports Outlook 2013 or later on Windows, Outlook 2016 or later on Mac, Outlook on the web and Outlook on iOS and Android. It syncs user details from the Microsoft 365 directory to fill in each signature.
Is BulkSignature SOC 2 compliant?
BulkSignature states on its website that it holds SOC 2 Type II, and its publisher attestation in Microsoft's app certification program lists a SOC 2 Type 2 report dated November 25, 2025. It answered no to ISO 27001. AutoSignature does not hold a SOC 2 report, so if your procurement requires one, that point goes to BulkSignature.
Is BulkSignature HIPAA compliant?
In its self assessment for Microsoft's app certification program, BulkSignature answered no to the question of whether the app complies with HIPAA. A signature tool that never handles message bodies is a smaller HIPAA question than one that does, but a healthcare buyer should ask any vendor directly and in writing before signing.
Does BulkSignature have a free trial?
Yes. BulkSignature advertises a free start with no binding contract and cancellation at any time, though the trial length is not stated on its pricing page. The Standard plan has a 10 seat minimum once you pay, so a six person team still pays for ten seats.

Team is $99 a month for up to 25 mailboxes, Business is $299 a month for up to 150 with banner campaigns and roles, and Scale is $799 for up to 600. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace are in every plan, and yearly billing takes about 20 percent off.
