Templafy pricing and Templafy email signature cost per user
Templafy's pricing page talks about AI presentations and document agents, and never mentions signatures. The signature price is sitting somewhere else, in Microsoft's own marketplace. We read it from there. Here is what a company pays for Templafy email signatures at eight sizes, and where it stops being the cheaper buy.

The short answer
Templafy sells its email signature product on Microsoft's US marketplace at $15 per user per year, which is $1.25 per user a month. The single plan, Email Signature Manager, runs on one, two or three year terms billed yearly, with no free trial on the listing. Templafy's own pricing page lists only a $40 per user Team plan and a quoted Enterprise plan, neither of which mentions signatures. At $15 a seat Templafy costs less than AutoSignature up to 119 users and from 151 to 319, and more from 120 to 150 and from 320 to 600.
How much does Templafy cost for each way you can buy it
There are three doors into Templafy, and only one of them has a signature price on it. Figures read on October 5, 2026 from Templafy's pricing page and Microsoft's US marketplace catalog.

Software directories quote Templafy at $12 to $25 per user a month. That range describes the document platform, not the signature product, and we could not trace it to a Templafy source, so treat it as a rumor. If you only need signatures, the marketplace plan is the number to budget against.
Templafy email signature cost at eight company sizes
Templafy's marketplace price is a straight $15 for every user. Our plans are flat bands billed yearly: $588 up to 25 mailboxes, $1,788 up to 150 and $4,788 up to 600.
| Users | Templafy, per year | AutoSignature, per year | Difference per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | $375 | $588 (Team) | $213 more with us |
| 50 | $750 | $1,788 (Business) | $1,038 more with us |
| 100 | $1,500 | $1,788 (Business) | $288 more with us |
| 150 | $2,250 | $1,788 (Business) | $462 less with us |
| 250 | $3,750 | $4,788 (Scale) | $1,038 more with us |
| 300 | $4,500 | $4,788 (Scale) | $288 more with us |
| 400 | $6,000 | $4,788 (Scale) | $1,212 less with us |
| 600 | $9,000 | $4,788 (Scale) | $4,212 less with us |
Where the line crosses the steps
Divide our band price by $15 and you get the break even points. Business at $1,788 equals Templafy at 119.2 users, so from 120 to 150 we cost less. Scale at $4,788 equals Templafy at 319.2 users, so from 320 to 600 we cost less, and the gap grows with every hire.
Below 120 users, and between 151 and 319, Templafy's marketplace plan is the cheaper line item. We say that plainly because it is true.
What Templafy email signature does in Outlook and Gmail
The marketplace listing describes a product built around Outlook. Templafy says it is natively integrated into Outlook, Outlook on the web and Outlook for mobile, with a mobile signature approach designed to avoid routing mail outside your company's servers. Brand and marketing teams manage layouts for several brands and office locations from one place, push seasonal campaigns, distribute disclaimers and track clicks with UTM codes. Templafy's product page adds separate internal, external, new and reply signatures per user, and directory updates through Active Directory and SCIM.
Google Workspace is supported, with caveats Templafy states itself. Its help center sets Gmail up through a service account and the Gmail API, covers Gmail in the browser, allows one signature template per user in Gmail, and notes that Google Workspace offers limited functionality compared with Microsoft. If your company runs both platforms, ask for a written list of what the Gmail side does and does not include.
The commercial picture matters as much as the technical one. Templafy is a document and brand governance platform first. Its strongest buyers are large companies that already use it for Word, PowerPoint and Outlook templates and want signatures under the same brand team. For them, signatures are a module in a contract they already have, and the marketplace price is a ceiling to negotiate from.
A company that only needs signatures is buying a narrow slice of a big platform, on a yearly term with no trial. That is not necessarily wrong, but it is worth comparing against tools that sell nothing else. The best email signature software for Office 365 roundup prices twelve of them at 25, 150 and 500 users.
Templafy or AutoSignature, by company
Pick Templafy
- You already run Templafy for documents and presentations and want one brand team in charge of everything.
- You are Outlook first and under 120 users, or between 151 and 319, and list price decides.
- You want multi year price protection and a three year term suits your procurement.
Pick AutoSignature
- You have 120 to 150 or 320 to 600 mailboxes, where our flat band costs less.
- You run Gmail and Outlook and want the same features on both, on every plan.
- You want to test it before you commit: the console on this page works without an account, and monthly billing is available.
Brand teams that buy Templafy for governance usually also want to know how the brand shows up outside the company's own email, in reviews, press and social posts, which is a job for brand monitoring software rather than a signature tool. Inside email, our email signature management software page explains what a flat plan covers, and pricing lists every band.
Questions to put in writing before you sign a Templafy quote
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the signature module priced per user or per employee? | Shared mailboxes and service accounts can add seats you did not plan for. |
| What is the price if we buy outside the marketplace? | The $15 list price is a public anchor. A direct contract may differ in either direction. |
| What happens on renewal after a three year term? | The listing auto renews on the same term. Ask whether the rate is locked or reset. |
| Which features work in Gmail, and which only in Outlook? | Templafy states Gmail has limited functionality and one template per user. |
| Can we start without a trial? | The listing has no trial, so ask for a pilot on a single department first. |
The same questions apply to every per user vendor. Our pages on the CodeTwo alternative and the Crossware alternative run the same math against their price lists, including where they beat us.
Templafy pricing questions
How much does Templafy cost for email signatures?
Templafy's email signature product, listed on Microsoft's US marketplace as Templafy Email Signature Server for Outlook, costs $15 per user per year on its Email Signature Manager plan. Terms of one, two or three years are offered, billed yearly. That works out to $1.25 per user a month, or $1,500 a year for 100 users and $9,000 for 600.
Does Templafy publish its pricing?
Partly. Templafy's own pricing page lists a free single seat plan for AI presentations, a Team plan at $40 per user a month capped at 25 seats, and a quoted Enterprise plan. None of the three mentions email signatures. The only public signature price is the Microsoft marketplace listing at $15 per user per year.
Can you buy Templafy email signatures without the full platform?
Yes, through Microsoft's marketplace. The Templafy Email Signature Server for Outlook listing sells a single Email Signature Manager plan on its own, purchased with a Microsoft billing account. Companies already on Templafy Enterprise for documents and presentations usually get signatures as a module inside their existing contract instead.
Does Templafy have a free trial for email signatures?
Not on the marketplace listing, which shows no free trial for the signature plan. Templafy's 14 day trial applies to its Team plan for AI documents and presentations. For signatures the route is a sales conversation, and the listing itself asks buyers to contact Templafy to discuss their needs.
Does Templafy email signature work with Gmail?
Yes, with limits. Templafy's help center describes a Google Workspace setup through a service account and the Gmail API, covering Gmail in the browser with one signature template per user, and says Google Workspace allows limited functionality compared with Microsoft. Its marketplace product is built for Outlook desktop, Outlook on the web and Outlook mobile.
What is a cheaper alternative to Templafy for email signatures?
On list price, CodeTwo, Exclaimer Starter, Xink, BulkSignature and Sigsync all cost less than $15 per user per year at most sizes on Microsoft 365. AutoSignature costs less than Templafy from 120 to 150 users and from 320 to 600 users, and covers Gmail and Outlook at the same depth on every plan.
One flat price for every signature in the company
Team is $99 a month for up to 25 mailboxes, Business is $299 for up to 150, Scale is $799 for up to 600, and yearly billing takes 50 percent off. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace on every plan.
